Artist Review
This Is It! is the best country CD out there at this time, and Jack Ingram is a great talent! He has parlayed his Texas career into a national presence and his journey is worth noting to all who might hope for wider recognition. It is the true fans who celebrate with him and applaud his success with this superb collection of songs he wrote, some he didn't write, some brand new and some he has been singing for years. Not to mention his big hits! Congratulations to Jack Ingram, and your public is proud for you!!

This CD isn't as bad as I've heard. Give Jack a chance and a few of the tracks will suprise you. The songs I like the best are written by Jack but I'm a vintage Jack fan. It's no "Hey You" but its not bad minus a couple songs.

Wish I could be as enthusiastic as the other critics...bought this one for Lips Of An Angel and probably should have bought Hinder's version instead. Sorry, Jack!

I totally agree about the CD should not be sold, nor should we support some fool like him. He is so disrespectful and has to be the most most ungreatful artist or calls himself a artist that I've ever seen. His mustic is NOT Texas Country and it is horrible he feels like he could even clasify himself as country! That okay, someone will knock him down one day, everyone's turn will come Jacks is just takeing a bit longer but I will wait around to watch it and will NOT support him or anything that might "even" benefit hime! Good luck to all the REAL TEXAS COUNTRY TALENT!

This album shouldn't be sold here on Lonestar Music. It should be sold on the commercials of "Trick My Truck" and at Wal-Mart.

for people who call jack a "sellout" that just shows your ignorance. this cd definently imbodies everything bout jack, from his love show, to his older music, to his current more commercial sound. all this "texas music" stuff is crap. its either good or bad. all texas music artists are, are guys who are only good enough to play in this state and thats because its so damn big. as soon as a guy goes to the mecca of country music he his considered a sell-out and thats stupid. texas music in most cases is nothing but the minor leagues. when the artists gets called up to the majors he is shamed of it. all he is doing is making the same music he would if he were recording his cd in houston or dallas or wherever in texas, except he his getting more exposure. pardon him if he wants to make some money and do something more with his music instead of just playing texas bars and struggling to get by supporting himself and his family. if yall want to keep listening to your "texas music" thats fine and dandy, but be prepared to not listen to stoney, wade and others when they get the chance to get more mainstreem cause ill guarntee you they will get their chance before too long, and ill guarntee you they will take it.

This CD is positively shining with talent! Jack has put all the pieces in place with THis Is It!! This work of art has his hits, his great sense of humor, but above all, his creative abilities all in one package. And, above all, each song is different, offering the listener another taste of this great artist. And the music reflecting on his family roots in West Texas, his son, his daughter is especially poignant. His work with Todd Snider is fun, light, and his duet piece with Sheryl Crow all add up to make this quite a package. From the Radney Foster opening to the last sweet note of All You Do, it is a joy! Hasn't been one like this one is some time!

This CD is great. Measure of a Man, Great Divide, Make a Wish, and Don't Want to Hurt are the highlights, but I think the whole CD is great.
