The new cd is great. You guys habe come a long way. between the new cd and the old one, your guys dont even sound like the same band. Ill have to say that the money was well spent. Thanks for the good music.

Hey Random Randy, why don't you pull your head out of your ass. That was pobably one of the weakest negative reviews I have read. What's worse...you gave the band a one star rating when it's obvious that you really like the new album..."I can't wait to hear Please come to Boston cover." If you like it, don't be afraid to say so. We all know it's bad ass. Try Not To Listen is one of the cleverest album titles i've heard and the song is great too. Guys...love the album, love the shows. Keep up all the good work, you guys kick ass.

WB and W84, Interesting title for the new album...isn't it a bit like naming popcorn, "Try not to eat me". Why would you tell your audience not to do exactly what you want them to do: listen. I know they can probably deduce what you're saying, but when they figure it out....they'll realize that you are saying "try not to listen because its that damn good" they will think that it is a pompous title. I have never heard of musicians trying to name their album "Our stuff is damn good" and that's what it sounds like. Hope it doesn't bomb because of poor marketing. Really want to hear Please Come to Boston cover. Good luck this month.

I know these guys personally and have for many years now. I'm so disturbed by all the posted messages about the STUPID name change. Anyone and EVERYONE who has ever met Wade Bowen knows he's the last person on earth to be Egotistical! ALL he has ever cared about is his music and that band (trust me...I know first hand). I personally think it's great that so many people are paying such CLOSE attention to the band and their every move! But if your going to pay attention...you should probably know the truth! So here it is for those of you who don't know!!! Wade graduated from Texas Tech this past December, he is now playing full time (making his living), the other band members (however) have not yet finished school! THEREFORE...they are incapable of playing full time! Wade is on his own during the week and after 4 years of putting his heart and soul into his music he wanted people to be able to make the connection between West 84 and Wade Bowen when he was playing acoustic shows....ONLY to bring more attention to the band and yes...HIMSELF! This is a business decision and that is it!!! There is NO "Wade thinks he's better than the band" CRAP!! Thats the most ridiculous accusation I have EVER heard. Each and every one of those band memebers needs the other one...and they all know that!!! Who knows...maybe when eveyone graduates they can change the name to MillNealPhilBow... WILL THAT MAKE YOU ALL HAPPY???? I love you guys and always will! Keep up the good work!! :) The name change is irrelevant to what you guys do and how good you do it!!

People of Lubbock need to unite and support the bands that are trying to make it in this town. For the past 2 weeks, people have been ripping us and ripping West 84. I think it is just plain idiotic. If you don't wanna hear us, then don't come see us. If you like us, thats awesome. As for me, I think that anyone that has the desire and drive to try their hand at the music business should be comended. And as for bashing on music, the beauty of music is that each band plays what they feel and what comes from the heart. Some may like it, some may not. Thats the beauty of music. If you don't like West 84 or The OCB, listen to someone you do like. Attacks on bands and their ideas and music is like attacking someone on the street for their choice in clothes or hairstyle. Its, what the band wants to do, if they wanted to do what everyone else wanted, they'd have joined O-Town. Thats all I have to say, keep supporting Lubbock music.
