Sorry to inform you guys, but I only wrote one review. I could write more though to tell you dumbshits like Jacob that you need to lay off the band and find better things to do. These guys are all great - I agree - so give it a rest. Stop trying to cause trouble with the band. If you don't like them anyway then what do you care what the name is? Find another band to review, since you think your opinion is so important. These guys are all important to the band and they're all really good guys. Sorry you can't recognize that. But then, who cares what you think?

Jacob For someone that doesn't know the guys and doesn't even know the music that well, you sure are passionate about reading these reviews EVERY SINGLE DAY and fighting for your argument! I think west 84 should get their own message board. You guys have way to much b.s. to say. If you dont like their music, dont worry about the name change. As for Jacob, there is only one thing you have said that anyone is going to agree with, everyone in the band makes the music. I dont think "TY FORM TCU" has a clue what he's talking about. I'm sorry for posting my opinion. I thought that this was a review board. Guess I don't get to post what I think of the band. Ty, you are an idiot to say that band members are a dime a dozen. They are just as important to a band. If you have a guitar player that sounds like everyone else and is an asshole to be around, you waon't go very far. A band, or a succesful band is made up of individuals that fit together and that produce music, that hopefully sounds a little bit original and in all hopes the band can get along long enough to make it. A good musician is just as hard to find as a good singer. Try and fins a good drummer sometime or a good bass player, they are far more rare than a singer...everyone wants to be a frontman. Ty, you have no clue. And I do know the band and I am familiar with their tunes, I just don't like the name change and I don't like their tunes. Thats it. Oh and one more thing, I hope the other boys of West 84 are upset about the comment you made that Wade makes the band, that is crap.

I'd just like to respond to "JACOB"... GET A LIFE BUDDY!!!!! Do you not have anything else to do but sit around and right reviews for a band that you obviously don't know anything about? If you had ever met Wade Bowen you'd know he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. And as for the name change, well, there again you don't know much about West 84, or you'd know how much Wade Bowen does make the band. Don't get me wrong these other guys are super, but, let's face it, band members are a dime a dozen but singers are not!!! Get your facts strait next time. And try to find something or someone to occupy your time. And as for Wade Bowen and West 84, keep up the good work. We really enjoy your music and look forward to you being in Fort Worth, Tx.

I have known these boys for a long time. I hope they make it past these changes, but I wish that they wouldn't have done this. Also, guys please stop taking yourselves so seriously. I think you have promise but you are no Boland or Canada, until you hit their level just chill out.

I like how one person had to stick up for Wade, you could tell all the posts were by the same person. As for my comment about CCR and The Great Divide, I used it to emphasize the fact that their amazing frontmen don't feel the need to put themselves ahead of the band, they are content being a part of the moniker. And anyone that thinks that Wade Bowen is the reason why West 84 is good is really a fool. West 84 is a band, therefore the entire band is what makes the sound. CCR would be nothing without each and everyone of its members, that is the truth....you don't have a band with out chemistry and especially without musicians to play your songs live. So Wade is only 1/4 of the equation in West 84. Just because Wade plays acoustic shows, doesn't mean he has to change the band name. I know for a fact the change was due to ego. I can't say how I know....but trust me, people have confided in me. This move is a stupid one and it could cost Wade alot. Good luck to the guys of West 84, I say get yourselves a new singer and let Wade move to Nashville and be a star....ha ha.

Is it just me or is there an odd resemblance in Trey, Ashley-Waco, Nick-Dallas, Mace-San Angelo, and Mike G's paragraph? All of which are written on the same day AND notice how the writter consistantly uses "-" a hyphen!!! Little odd...don't you think!?!? Next time, you should change up your style of typing! Then maybe some of your entrees would have some credabilty! On another note, I think it's really vile that people are typing these reviews... that in all honesty have nothing to do with the importance of Wade Bowen and West 84's music. Seems like something a bit more personal, on the inner "group"... if you will? I actually want to congratulate the guys on the name change...you've had more hits on lonstars review board, than you EVER have! So there, the contraversy is getting you some attention! Appears to be from the same person, but hey, it's contraversy! I actually write reviews for bands all over Texas and I had heard to listen in for you guys, SO, I'm doing my research and just from these reviews alone I'm getting the vibe of an extremely imature group. I think I'll be checking back at a later date. Get all this BS worked out.
