Kenefick use to be good when they played their original music and had their original band members.

Even though I was with "Will" at one of the Kenefick shows, I want to share my own opinion on Kenefick. This is one of those sleeper bands that seem to just come out of nowhere and hit the national scene like Lone Star, Rascal Flats, etc. Except for those of who have been paying attention around Houston, that is. Kenefick is easy on the ears and tough on a pair of Tony Lama's. They really can motivate a crowd to move! Love em!

I have seen the Kenefick guys play a few times around Houston. This ain't no cover band. Kenefick has an impressive list of original tunes that sure make you want to scoot your boots. If Kenefick keeps paying their dues they are really gonna hit it big and that just might be next week. That's how good they sound. It takes work to harmonize and sound as good on stage as you do on your CD, especially your DEBUT CD! I hear so many different influences in their music, everything from the Eagles to Johnny Rodriguez, even on the Kenefick original tunes. Country music is in great shape if more bands do it like Kenefick does.

Enjoyable. Very entertaining stage show and fine dancing music. Strong sound from a fairly new band.

Saw Kenefick play in Houston recently and I think they are going to be the next BIG winners on CMA. The band and their original music are just that good. Nice harmony, talented musicians, catchy lyrics, and a real confident stage presence. Good luck Kenefick!

My boyfriend and I happened to catch Kenefick doing a show 'round here... at a WalMart of all places! These guys really can carry a tune, and their music is such a refreshing change from all the other "Texans come lately" out there right now. I hope to see Kenefick headlining the Houston Rodeo within a couple of years. Kenefick sounds great!

I bought this on a lark. I haven't bought 10 cd's since they (cd's) came out. I have listened to this one so much that I have memorized several of the songs (not my normal routine). This is a great cd with many great songs. Start the follow up. Hope to see you in Austin.

WOW what a band! I caught these guys at The Hideout at Rodeo Houston this year and I have to say that they were the absolute best....and I saw every hideout show. I watched a huge crowd stop their converstations to watch the whole show. Nobody else had that effect. I immediately bought a CD and have caught 2 shows since then. They are definitely hitting on all cylinders. The CD, "Hard Road" is awesome. Great original country music with some very thoughtful lyrics....one of those records you can listen to over and over. A nice change from all of the "I'm from Texas and I chug beer" stuff out there right now. But MAN, you have to catch a show. So full of energy. You can't keep your eyes off the stage. The guy with the glasses.."Q"...is very funny...and the choice of covers is great too. They make classic country songs sound brand new...not many people can do that. Let me tell you, Kenefick is definitely the best band in Houston, and I would say in the top 5 in the state. What a show! Kenefick might just be the new "standard" in show bands. Cooder, Creager, and Green...don't look over your shoulder...there is a new kid in town! If Nashville has a brain left, this will be the next country band picked out of Texas.
