Mike has once again put a stamp on this CD for every Texas band to try and copy. Great job Mike!
This CD is fan-freaking-tastic. I love it! My husband and I went out to see the band in ennis the other night, the crowd sucked, but oh my gosh the band was OUTRAGEOUS!!! Buy this CD!!!
MM is the best thing to ever happen to the texas-oklahoma whatever music scene. He was the entire band with the Great Divide (if you don't believe me, check out GD's last album- enough said.) As far as his solo career goes, let me just say I don't go anywhere without 12 pieces in my truck.
ok i know i am going to get the backlash but it has to be said. got my album and was not impressed. sorry but i think the voice, the writing and the melody was lacking. don't get me wrong i used to be a huge mcclure fan when he was with the divide but i think he has lost his edge and the songs a proving it. maybe next time....but this album was terrible.
I love this band. I have bought everything Mike has ever put out. (I think; it's a lot) He is an awesome song writer and musician. His drummer, Eric Hansen, kicks ass too. Go buy the c.d., and go see a show. You won't be disappointed. MMB Rocks Balls!!!
Great job on the album and congrats to Mac on the Garth cut!! This could'nt have happened to a more deserving song writer. Keep it up pardner.
got my cd and am not impressed at all. sounds like he just pulled it out of the trash bin. try again maybe you can find what you have left behind.
