I’ve come to the opinion that all this McClure business is much ado about nothing. A wise man once said that one should weigh his press, not read it. Website reviews, of course, are difficult to weigh, but I think you get my point. Perhaps all this trash-talk is but a novel marketing strategy. McClure’s body of work runs hot and cold with me. When he’s good, he’s great and when he’s bad, he’s awful. I admit to enjoying his earlier efforts with TGD more than his later work. Mike may be worshiping his own personality cults a bit too much. I do think Mike is a good songwriter, but not the poet laureate of the plains that those from Oklahoma or Stephenville, TX would have you believe he is.

Can't believe anyone would want to miss this album. Also can't believe anyone thinks The Great Divide is better without McClure. Growing up in Stilly and listening to them from the beggining has been awesome. Saw The Great Divide, post Mike, a few weeks ago at a street dance and they couldn't keep anyone's attention. McClure is a lyrical genius. Note his followers....LaRue, CCR, Boland etc. Enough said.

always knew mike would make it on his own he is the best songwriter going period. replacing steve earle. if it wasnt for the divide and mike there would be no red dirt music yes they are apart but they will both remain so for all you crows out there go listen to big and rich but all of us that are truly loyal will remain mike play alb!!!!!! cant wait for camolot

Best band around. Caught Mike last night and it was awesome! WERN JAMMED! Quite possibly the best.

Mac has moved and is just fine. The TGD has moved on and they are just fine. The rest of us need to move on and we will be just fine. The past is just that-the past. Move on to the future and enjoy the music!! Don't dwell in the past because it is not revelant. Look to the future.

So he did Remain again, big deal. Let's save our remarks until the cd comes out. If it's half as good as all his other material, I'll be satisfied.

amazing....what happened to this guy? you cannot make me believe that he is recutting remain because he wants to. he is recutting remian because he now realizes that he should have never left tgd. so much for a "new" release with "new songs" obviously the talent is gone...just like the live shows, the new music...ect

Mike has a terrific live show I have seen probably 10 times. He always gives his fans an hour and a half of kick ass music and works as hard as anyone I have ever seen.If you like good music, you will like this. Got my order in for the new album. It will be like all McClure music-damn good!!

Ive seen a live show. What was so great? The part where "Mike" got waisted they way "he" wanted without anybodies else's "influence". Or the part where he insulted the crowd and sang and played like crap? Either way what a waiste of money and time.

Mike and the whole MMB Band is awesome !! I am very happy to see Into the Mystic on the album and seeing a Awesome version of Remain on the albulm after all it is Mike's song and he should do all of "his" songs they way "he" wants and should of never been influcened any other way. If you have not seen a show live you are missing out!!!
