To NoYDB: Here's a few: Dale Watson, Jim Lauderdale, Dwight Yoakam, Moot Davis, & The Hollisters make McClure look like a musical fetus. Even Buddy Jewel is easier to stomach. So, you guarantee that you have experienced a better variety of music than I have? That's remarkable considering the fact that you have no idea who the hell your talking to. In fact, that claim is one of the most ignorant statements I've ever read. You have no frame of reference! Well, McClure stands as one of, if not the most musical inept performers I have ever run across and it fascinates me that you all love him so. Then again, a lot of folks liked that Garth Brooks. NoDYB, You keep on with your name calling. . . it's what monkeys would do if they could type.

pretty sad when you have to go back and put "remain" on the album. maybe he really messed up leaving, but he wouldn't be welcome anyway Micah is much better.

Camelot Falling
I will listen to and BUY anything and everything Mike McClure puts his fingerprints on. It takes special music to stir my soul. Camelot Falling is more soul stirring music from a dedicated, blessed artist.

I am a Great Divide fan but more of a fan of Mike's music. I enjoy him putting so much of himself into his music. I am a Great Divide fan but more of a fan of Mike's music. I enjoy him putting so much of himself into his music. I have the up most respect for anyone who follows there dreams and just happens to be great at it. I think each one of his CDs I have purchased have been worth every penny and would recommend them to anyone wanting a little more than the tired old mainstream music.

It's funny to me all these old fans of TGD think he's a dick for leaving. I guess they have a right to be upset because that band has gone nowhere since he left. But, a few years after the dust has settled, Mike is still making, writng, and producing great music. It's in his blood. It's his passion and he will still be making a very comfortable living at it when TGD finally shuts it down to explore other exciting career options like bulk grain sales. I know it stings for the old band but Mike always was the talent in the band and his musical catalog speaks for itself.

Mike McClure is real. He is an inspiration to all of us who seek truth in music. I was dishearted when I learned The Great Divide were breaking up, but after watching a live preformance by MMB I was reassured that Mike's music would never die. Growing up in Western Oklahoma, it seems every song he writes is a biography of my life. He has an incredible talent for touching people through music. Mike, please don't ever give up....we need your music!

Mike is breath of stench in a 'scene' that he's pioneered to be 'stagnate.' Not only is he a horrendous singer, his songs are completely amateur and self indulgent. The great divide were awful, and Mike continues the tradition of attitude with no edge. You're a paper tiger.

Camelot Falling
Mac is such an amazing songwriter and, from the clips, this album illustrates that as well as any album thus far. I've been a huge fan since the early days at the Wormy Dog! Keep it up.

Hey Just Me, I could accept that he just doesn't like me even though that's highly unlikely. If you read into the postings, you will realize that it's not just about the way I was treated. That was the entire premise for my other comment. Oh wait, let me help you. Premise means basis for an argument. Also, It’s an insult to Mike to say that he has just matured enough to recognize an asshole. In fact it’s down right silly. Kinda like you not being willing to accept that he has been acting rather grouchy lately. I think this last posting by D-rod may have some validity. If it’s true, then “voila”, I have my answer. I still enjoy Mike’s musical creativity and will not be posting from this angle again. This discussion is terribly worn out! Maybe, just maybe a little positive fan review on the new material will help him out. Please note, I have never criticized the music.
