Mike McClure is a fkn' songwriting genius, Sad to see him leave TGD, but people move on and he dosent to seem to have missed a step. Im sure if he keeps up the pace he will go down as legendary musician. Piss on Nashville
Since Mike has left the Great Divide he has been outstanding. More relaxed and focused on his work. The Great Divide has struggled and fallen off the map of the music scene. Question: Where has the Great Divide disappered to? Enough about TGD. MMB's live show is a hell of a great time. I get chill bumps everytime I hear MMB music. Awesome Job Guys!!! Mike is one of the best performers out there today. He has maintained his level of excellence for many years now. His new albums reflect this level of excellence. When you see his show, you understand Mike. He is the best.
I saw Mike for the second time at Saenger (sanger?) Hall and it was absolutely incredible. His ability to create such intense lyrics are what do it for me. What's weird is Mike's music has really opened a new door for me. I loathe country music and too be honest I didn't care for TGD, but Mike's music is different. Thanks Mike. Keep rockin man. I wonder if James knows how f***** stupid he is...?...No, guys like that never do..(If it is a guy) I agree that Bruce Robison is a bad ass..I'm surprised he got that right..I guess he doesn't understand the words or something. He trashes everyone..My guess is that he went to an "open mic night" and everyone told him that he sucked..So...He's bitter.

Quite a thought. I suppose Hank Williams Sr. was a "sell out." Even Bruce Robison makes Mike look like a lyrical little girl. With that said, it would take a short discussion to reveal all of Mike's hilarious musical blunders. . . Dare I use the word musical. Let's try to make this discussion about the music instead of using words that would get your ass kicked if you said them to my face. OK then.
Who is this James guy. I'm amazed that he was able to use the word "quotient" in the correct context. James, how can you possibly create a review that turns people off from MMB. Please note that you are the only fool who feels this way. I'm also a huge fan of CCR and Craeger, but their lyrics don't hold a candle to Mikes. Lastly James, there are many radio stations that will play your kind of "country." I feel Alan Jackson would be a good one for you seeing that anyone who doesn't appreciate Mike is just a sell out.
