Stoney is a guy who is cool without trying. 'Downtown' the song is masterfully written. On the whole the CD is worth buying, although I don't think it fully captures Stoney's talent. He is very entertaining live. On the flip side I think he has a long way to go to reach his potential, but 30 years from now he could very well be considered one of the greats of our time.

By far, hands down, without a doubt, the BEST musician in the red dirt/texas scene right now. Go and see you, if you know anything about music, you'll be amazed. Downtown is one of the best CD's right now as well.

Watched Stoney perform at the Waylon Tribute for the first time, what a voice. With 30 plus performers he stood out and did Waylon proud. If you havent seen Stoney yet, you will be amazed. www.waylontribute.com [email protected]
