have to agree with a couple of other reveiwers about the new Stoney LaRue. Bought it and the Randy Rogers CD at the same time on the suggestion from a friend and think Randy's CD is much better. Sounds kind of sophomoric.

I saw this on the Top Sellers List for a few weeks so I decided to buy it being only famiiliar with "shot full of holes" from the Stragglers CD..."Texas Moon" is an excellent song but the rest of the album is all downhill from there...$15 is too much for 1 great song and 10 others that I never listen to.

stoney is the besthe is a good singer and song writter . if you do not have the in the band dvd you need to get it and stoney is on there and etc. from robin mcc texas music is number one

Stoney is a great performer and sings his heart out at his shows.He WILL be big one day soon--he puts his heart into his wrting and his soul into his singing. Together that is quite a combination.I recently attended one of his shows. He has a great rapport with the fans and is quite humorous at times.The songs on his cd "Downtown", are wonderful. Keep in mind that the band had only been together a couple of weeks when it was recorded---so there are a couple of rough spots in some songs, but when you see him LIVE---it is absolutely surreal.Go on Stoney, your fans are behind you and we KNOW you can do it.

I am pretty open minded but this is the worst cd I have ever listened to.Sorry boys but I wouldn't quit your day jobs

Stoney is by far one of the BEST new artists in the red dirt music scene.If you go out to see his shows, you'll see what I mean. He has a voice that is out of this world and can really pick that acoustic guitar. Excellent cd, of which he wrote 99% of the songs . He is going to skyrocket. Go out to one of his shows---you'll be glad you did.

This is a truly GREAT GREAT CD. If I were King of Texas, the title cut "Downtown" would be song of the year. Can't wait to hear them at Homers this year

Stoney Larue and the Stoney Larue Band kick so much ass. I have seen you numerous times. Crystal eyes is by far my favorite song. I have your CD in my player right now. Your voice is so powerful and full of passion when you hit the high notes it gives me the goosebumps. I think your CD "Downtown" is a five star. Your loyal fan Tyler Cole

I just saw his name on the website the other day and decided to download some Stoney's stuff, and there is not a song I have heard that I don't like.

Stoney and the O.B.B. recently did a private show for the good people of Stigler, Oklahoma. I, along with about 140 other people, attended the show. It was without a doubt the best show I had ever seen. Stoney and his band have a unique way of connecting with the crowd. I have lived in Stigler for 25 years, and it is the most fun I have EVER had in my hometown.....Thanks Stoney... Shep
