A great voice and a great Texas songwriter. I am only sorry that I did not know of Brian's music way before now.

This is one great album. I recommend it to all Texans and everyone that loves Texas music, kind of reminds you of Marty Robbins Gunfighter album.

This is one of the best damn cd's that I own. It is a MUST OWN for all Texans. I am a huge PG, Corry Morrow, Jason Boland, etc. fan and this guy is AWESOME! Travis' Letter and then the playing of "Deguello" brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Makes me want to go kick Santa Anna's ass right now.... I going to buy everything else this guy puts out. You should too!

Brian exudes the true spirit of Texas with this album. He narrates the siege of the Alamo in gritty detail with two songs and Travis' Letter. If you are a patriot, you will be left with chills. He takes us all on a hundred year ride with songs of the Old West and the West of tomorrow. Guitar pickers take note: This is a fine piece of finger-picking and singing that you deserve to learn. Tom Russell, Gary P. Nunn and Larry Joe Taylor all contribute. It is a MUST have!

Great live performer, great CDs. This guy does Gallo Del Cielo better than Joe Ely - that should pretty well sum up his talent. He has lots of great original songs, not to mention that he does almost all of the instrumentation on his CDs. Buy his music, see him live.

Can't say enough good things about this album. If you have ever stood in wonder in side the Alamo and had a rush of pride and sorrow hit you all at once, then here is the soundtrack to that feeling. It's well put together and a must for all Texans.

I recently purchased this CD and I love it. All true Texans must get this one, it is great!!!! Travis' letter is awsome and crash at crush is a very interesting story that I didn't even know about. Check it out, it's great!!!

I've not only had the pleasure to sit and play with Brian but, I have been able to sit and listen to this Texans music live. His newest CD, "Angels and Outlaws" is one of the best I've heard. I've all but worn out my copy. If you are a Texas music lover, you need a copy of this CD for your collection and, if you enjoy hearing Texas music live, Brian Burns is one act you don't want to miss.
