Artist Review
This is one of the best story tellers and song writers out there. With his amazing voice and vivid lyrics it is near impossible to not be swept away! Not only is Brian an icredible artist he is also a damn fine person. This guy is way too cool. I was mesmerized by his ability to play his set with nothing but a gee-tar, microphone and his voice! First listened to Border Radio under the guidance of my mother and then heard Heavy Weather and was even more blown away! The fact that more people do not know about Brian just baffles me.

my husband only asks for three albums, willie Nelson has two of them. The third is Border Radio by Brian Burns. I can always count on listening to audio books from my husband. He will get out Border radio and listen to it. Brian's Border Radio and Heavy weather are two of my favorite albums. Being on the road as a truck driver for twenty one years a lot of albums have gotten left at home but not these. Keep up the good work can't wait to hear what you are working on next.

I am from Wyoming and am here to buy some albums. This music is absolutely the top. Takes me back to what I used to listen to with my dad while hunting. real music that tells a story and there is nothing better thatn that. "Fire Ants!" love it!!! I agree with another post-Thank God for XM radio or I never would have heard of him.

I,ve known Brian since the early eighties, we worked together in a well known central texas dancehall band, i was convinced back then that Brian would do very well in the business, i was fortunate enough to learn from him about mixing a monitor the right way,i knew it was right when he would look over and give me that nod of approval, i'll never forget that,Brian's time has come and will be here for all of us to enjoy for many years to come, more power to you brother, i'll see you at a show soon, take care.

Brian Burns…just absolute one of the best artists that I have ever heard. Thank goodness for XM Radio. Others and I are now aware that there is much better music “out there.” To date, I have purchased 4 of Brian’s CDs. All are great. Wish he would publish a songbook with the lyrics and chords to all of his music. I hope to one day see this gentleman in concert. Your rating system goes from 1 to 5…give Brian a 10 !!! We recently saw Brian at the Springtown Wild West Days and he was great. I've been a fan for a lot of years but never owned a CD until this one. This one will be in the truck for a LONG time!

A musician myself, and married to a musician, I don't have much in the spare time department to listen to a lot of newer songwriters.... sounds crazy, I know, but it's "nose to the grindstone these days". My husband recently signed on with Ricky Broussard and "2 Hoots and a Holler", as lead guitar and co-conspirator. LOL. It was Ricky Broussard that turned me on to a few of his songs, and now I am finding myself obsessively intrigued. Great hooks, inspiring, solid, and fun, instant classics! Thanks. I needed that.
