I think this cd is great. Not as good as Fly, but it definitely is a great piece of work. There are various songs on this new album that I just have to re-wind and listen to over and over again. Great job. From a Californian chick, to the chicks all across the land, long live the DIXIE CHICKS! :)~

The linear note on the inside of the CD says "Changing the way we do business". The album is a change and certainly lacks the "Earl", "Wide Open Spaces", "Sin Wagon", upbeat tempo of the first two. Stick with a winning formula that gets people off their feet. This album put me to sleep
This is a great recording! My daughter bought one of the first 150 CDs in town, came by my house, we listened to it during a thunder storm, as soon as the storm let up, she went back and bought me one, then checked with a friend who immediately sent her back to the store for another. There were 5 left in just about an hour and a half. It was worth the effort. Much more 'roots' than earlier recordings, but still with a sense of humor. This is another winner.
Everytime I go see a country concert I always see guys playing the fiddle and it looks so fun! I love the fact that Martie is a good-ole-girl playing the fiddle in the band! You rock and I also love your harmonies with Em and Nat!
