Shooter, dude, lose the glasses, they make you, I don't know, they don't look right. CD was OK, similar to Lisa Marie Presley's first album..you know the child of a superstar..but her went Gold, will this one?

I am trying to figure out how the last few people don't like this CD? If you were expecting Waylon, forget it, this is Shooter and this CD is one of the best of the new year. Don't believe the folks who say he is not country...he lived and will always live it. Buy this CD and you will not disapointed. Fourth of July, Steady at the Wheel, Busted in Baylor County all rock. Sweet Savannah has some of the most intense lyrics, with a great acoustic guitar arrangement. Pick this up now!

Time to call 1-900-SELLOUT. The son of Waylon will make no headlines with "Put the O Back in Country" nor will he turn any heads. Those looking for a album with more substance are encouraged to pick up the Kenny Chesney Greatest Hits Collection as you'll find more substance in the nauseating collection than you will in this pile of garbage.

Ha! U think this is cuntry? I ain't never herd cuntry like this. This boy wouldnt know cuntry if it bit him square in the arse! Leave cuntry music to ur daddy Shooter u need to do something that u wanna do cos u wanna not cuz its cool! Quit doing the cool thing and be urself and maybe then ur fans will respect u! SELLOUT!

there is little original in shooter's debut album. the title shows his disdain for nashville, but at the same time, the title is a rip of hank iii's "dick in dixie/c*** in cuntry". that in itself should show that shooter is riding on his predecessors coattails while he is trying to find his own voice and style.

Decent - not a "wower." You can hear sounds reminiscent of other artists, like John Mellencamp, Kid Rock (doing his wanna-be country stuff), etc. Nothing very original, but an okay CD to add to your collection.

Anybody willing to give nashville a big f*** you is worth listening too. I think orange blossom special and honkey tonk heroes are better but that's like comparing the whites stripes to Led Zepplin. I like the new Loretta Lynn album better but she is classic in most minds like this gentleman's father. Nashville is as corrupt as good ol' boss hog himself. If you defend nashville over this young man then you have bought into all that crap along with your Creed and Britney Spears albums. If you can not appreciate the album for itself and message and dismiss it as a rip-off of some skynrd or real outlaw country then you probably really don't like country and you think george strait sucks or your to over the hill to give a young man a chance.

I saw Shooter in Tuscaloosa,Alabama, and thought his music was great. I haven't had a chance to pick up his cd, but will as soon as possible. I really recommend Shooter to anyone who appreciates good quality music...
