Houston Marchman is one of the best singer/songwriters of his generation. His music is as honest as it gets. It means a lot to hear someone sing something they actually wrote, it adds something. I can relate to Houston's songs in a way that I have never been able to relate to any other musician before.

Houston Marchman has cut what may well be remembered as the best damn independant C.D. released by a Texas artist this year! From the album opener Wichita Falls this C.D. is a soulful, story telling delight. Houston has shown himself to be a true master of painting full, rich, glorious picture's with his music. Houston Marchman is a fantastic songwriter/singer. He deserves any and every ounce of praise he gets. He deserves a lot more praise also. His voice makes me think of Bruce Springsteen growing up in the southwest and being a cowboy. He's gritty and raw. His words melt together some well and the feelings he makes you feel are unreal. Truly a Texas treasure. I suggest that everyone gives this man a listen.
